JUNIOR & YOUTH BASEBALL Junior and Youth Baseball program has been shut down.
This is a fun league open to children from Selkirk and all the surrounding areas. It is a great opportunity for children ages 5 and up, to not only be active, but to help build their self-esteem, develop team-work skills and sportsmanship. Most importantly…have fun!!
Age group categories:
The teams are mixed with boys and girls.
T-Ball - ages 5 - 7
(Must be turning 5 years old before June 30)
Games will be every Tuesday and Thursday.
The kids hit off of a Tee.
Parent Pitch - ages 7 - 10
Games will be every Tuesday and Thursday.
Coaches under hand pitch to the kids.
Youth Baseball - ages 10 - 12
Games will be every Monday and Wednesday.
Kids hit off of a pitching machine.
Youth Baseball - ages 12 - 16
(Must still be 16 years old on June 30)
Games will be every Monday and Wednesday.

Parents and guardians are more than welcome to volunteer as board members, coaches, and assistant coaches, scorekeepers, umpires and generally helping out with the club. Volunteers are always needed every year. The games are played in Selkirk at local baseball diamonds. The season runs for May and June, finished up with a fun-filled wind-up for the volunteers, players and their families. Registration is usually held in late February / early March, dates are advertised in local Selkirk newspapers.
