 SPEED SKATING
Speed Skating is Canada’s #1 Olympic winter sport! The Interlake Speed Skating Club offers a program designed to accommodate competitive as well as recreational/fitness skaters.
The program is open to skaters from 5 years of age and up (including adults), and is popular with families as both parents and kids can be on the ice at the same time under the direction of NCCP certified coaches.
Our season runs from mid-September until the end of March, with 6+ Manitoba Speed Skating Association competitions available including one hosted by our club on “Home Ice” at the Selkirk Recreation Complex.
Registration is held in early September, but we can accommodate new members at any time throughout the season. Speed skates are available through our Rental Program. For additional information contact 482-6477.
