The Crime Prevention Advisory Board (CPAB) was formulated in 2003 as a result of City Council's recognition of crime concerns within the community. The CPAB was created to bring together community organizations who expressed interest in a crime prevention stategy.
The CPAB is made up of a cross-section of interested individuals coming from many different walks of life. We have representation from the community-at-large, the Chamber of Commerce, Selkirk Justice Committee, RCMP, business owners and City of Selkirk Council.
